About this preview
This is a functional preview of the long-form reading experience planned for future Archive writing.
It demonstrates typography, navigation, themes, artwork placement, and responsive reading controls using entirely invented material. No approved story text is published here.
Reader interface first. Approved content later.
Reader Tour
A long-form page should disappear around the writing. This synthetic chapter tests a comfortable measure, generous line height, and enough contrast for an unhurried session.
The contents dock follows the document without crowding it. Hide the dock for a wider page, change the type size from the toolbar, or switch the paper treatment for a darker room.
Section links align each divider beneath the reader toolbar. The same contents map can support a novella, essay, or development journal.
Artwork Flow
This second invented chapter proves that repository-authored prose and artwork can share one canonical content flow.
The illustration above is a fixture made only for this interface test. Relative image references are compiled with the Markdown instead of being rewritten by the reader component.
Reading State
The navigation is generated from the source folders rather than typed twice. Front matter, numbered chapters, and back matter keep their intended order as a work grows.
Reading preferences remain on this device. They never edit source material, and no sign-in is required for this preview.
Preview complete
This is the end of the synthetic reader demonstration.
Story content will appear only after creator approval. Until then, this route remains an interface prototype rather than a published edition.
