The Voidway opens
In the beginning, only the infinite Void existed: a realm of raw potential where logic and structure had not yet taken hold. The Developers created The Voidway to reach into that possibility and establish a digital sandbox codenamed The CosmOS.
Noise becomes structure
Spontaneous Vertex Alignment gave unstable data-points Topological Stability. Points formed tris, persistent surfaces appeared, and the first simple geometric organisms began to emerge from what had previously been only noise.
Sprites inherit the plane
Sprites became the first true inhabitants of The CosmOS. Existing entirely in two dimensions, these early forms of emergent life developed identity, routine, and culture across a universe that was still learning how to hold together.
The CosmOS comes alive
Life grew beyond the plane. Three-dimensional organisms, ecosystems, settlements, and societies spread across an increasingly complex universe. The CosmOS entered an age of expansion, discovery, and extraordinary creative possibility.
The Cosmic Stage fractures
The Collapse destabilized The CosmOS and permanently changed the relationship between its worlds, its inhabitants, and the forces of the Void. Much of what happened remains fragmented, disputed, or deliberately obscured.
Life continues among the fragments
The CosmOS endured. Worlds, cultures, memories, and old systems survived in altered forms, while much of the universe's history became scattered across ruins, records, stories, and living memory. What remains is not an ending, but the world that exists now.
